About Me

Mandy Kearney, Nutritional Therapist

BSc(OT), DipCNM, mANP, mGNC

I have always been passionate about healthcare. I have 14 years of experience working as Occupational Therapist both in South Africa and within the NHS, initially focussing on mental health before specialising in children's therapies. My work has involved supporting children with a wide range of conditions, including mild to severe physical and intellectual disabilities, developmental delay, ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy and sensory processing disorders.

However, it was my own child's health journey with ADHD and Tourette's that lead us to a naturopathic nutritional therapist. Her gut healing protocol and dietary changes transformed my child's life. What's more, I implemented the changes across our entire family, and we saw remarkable results. My other child's asthma symptoms improved so significantly that she no longer required medication, and even my own health issues including PCOS symptoms cleared up.

Inspired by the expertise of our nutritional therapist, and the profound effectiveness of her programme, I decided to pursue a new career path. I embarked on the intensive 3-year Diploma in Nutritional Therapy through the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine in the UK.

Today, I am proud to blend my extensive experience as an occupational therapist, and personal experience as a parent of children with neurodiversity and gut issues with my training in nutritional therapy, allowing me to provide a comprehensive and deep understanding of my clients and the challenges they face individually and as a family. While I have a particular interest in childhood nutrition, I am also passionate about supporting the busy parents who keep the show on the road.
